If you are looking for the perfect setup for your driving games and sims, look no further. You will be very happy as I can't imagine there is a finer option for this price....A couple of notes regarding set up.. As you personalize your set up and position pay attention to the placement of the arm that holds the steering wheel as you should position this fairly close to the seat as opposed to closer to your feet and this will keep the middle column in a position that will not interfere with the braking and shifting..... GREAT PRODUCT !!!!!!! Enjoy.......!
After doing some research I decided to purchase this seat as it seemed to be the better choice as far as quality and value were concerned. Being 6'4' and 250 lbs, I was looking for comfort, stability, durabilityand easy storage. In addition a degree of adjustability so others could enjoy. The seat took 20-30 minutes to assemble and all tools were included. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I must say I'm more than impressed with the product.It is everything one could want, comfortable, sturdy and very well designed. Coupled with the Logictech G27 driving system it makes for an incredible home driving simulator.

Firstly, let me say that this product is extremely well engineered and built. It is made from heavy steel and certain parts are welded together for added strength. The seat part came folded and wrapped in plastic. All other parts were neatly boxed or wrapped in paper to keep them scratch free. Unfortunately my Playseat did not come with instructions but I had already scoured the Internet in anticipation of this product so I had a vague idea on how it was going to go together. The trickiest part of the assembly process was the seat slider, which also did not come with instructions. Common sense basically to
ok over and I eventually figured it all out. I'm 6' 4" so I thought the slider option was a good idea. I'm not sure if it really helps but it certainly comes in handy when my friends come over who are shorter. It works exactly like a manual care seat adjustment and seems extremely sturdy. Just like some other reviewer here mentioned, just be aware that the rails on the sliders themselves are pre-greased so you may want to wear your grubbies and put paper on the floor in case you rub up against it.
Is the seat comfy? Yes, very. I can sit in this seat for hours at a time without feeling any fatigue. I installed my Logitech Driving Force GT on the seat and am installing a Buttkicker Gamer 2 this weekend. So far I am extremely happy with my purchase. The only thing I wish the design was any different is that it included a method to hide all the wires and cables. It gets pretty unwieldy but they do provide you lots of cable ties to try and make things as neat as possible.
When the box arrived last Saturday it looked a bit puny for what the product was but these clever folks know how to pack a product. I'm sure the FedEx guy wasn't too happy with me since the thing weighed a "ton". I also purchased the slider kit with this seat.
